PACF Performing Arts
Based in the western suburbs, PACF Performing Arts is a youth group that was formed to teach our children the positive aspects of our culture, heritage, and history through dance, music, and arts; to learn to appreciate, respect and work with each other; to learn to give back to the community; and to help promote our rich Philippine culture by performing at many cultural events, churches, private functions and community programs.
All are welcome to join. No experience required, only the enthusiasm to learn. We are also always looking for someone to volunteer to help, teach and/or coordinate.
The group has performed at different venues such as Chicago Children’s Museum, The Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry’s Christmas Around the World, Navy Pier’s Winter Wonderfest, Navy Pier’s Tall Ship, Navy Pier’s Neighborhood of the World, Skokie Festival of Culture, Chinatown Summer Fest, St. Joseph Church in Marseilles, Asian Heritage at Daley Plaza, Independence Day at the Thompson Center, nursing/senior homes, other local fests, as well as weddings, birthdays, and banquets. The group has also participated at various musicals and concerts.
